Why Orthodoxy?
I survived two extreme situations only because of the prayers of orthodox monks and only by fasting and taking the Communion in the orthodox church.
I had to be operated on my brain at the age of only one year. After this difficult operation I could not wake up from the coma. Only trough the help of my mother, who went to the monastery of Tito Veles where she asked Brother Georgij for prayer and he promised that God would wake me op when she comes beck to the hospital. This really happened just the way he said.
At the age of 27 and after a life unfortunately a part of God I got cancer on my womb. So I asked a friend again who is orthodox for prayer. Georgia afterword became a nun. I fastened in certain periods of Orthodox Church Year and I took part in the Communion. After one Year being under medical observance I have had no more power and wontad to an operation. Then I prayed in the Chapel of St. Georgios in Reutlingen where I felt a sort of announcement that I am healed. Only for that reason I did not let my self be operated and asked my doctor to do a new test to see how my illness developed. Here is where I got confirmation that I am alright.
I realized that God who saved me again after having lived in a bed manner, is really mercy full and deserves to be loved and praised whether in illness or in good health.
Now, being 37, I am healthy and have 2 beautiful children. I was never operated on my womb.
This two reasons are why I believe or I should better say I know that that in the Orthodoxy everybody can be saved by the sacraments and that each human needs that.
Nevertheless I trust and see the love for Jesus of other Christian brothers and sisters but I can say without fail, the orthodox Church can give You so much, You can't even imagine.
